CA AB 800- Workplace Readiness Week Curriculum

Early in the 2023-24 school year, the California Legislature passed AB 800 which requires all high schools to educate students about their rights as workers. Millions of young people participate in our state’s economy and many of them confront workplace issues like wage theft, harassment, and safety violations. AB 800 implementation will inform students about their rights, the history of workers’ rights, methods to protect and enforce these rights, and the resources available to support young workers.
