Know Your Rights: Info for Young Workers in CA
UC Berkeley's Labor Center spearheaded the creation of this important document that must be distributed to California high school students applying for work permits. It is available in six languages and can be printed out or shared digitally.
CA AB 800- Workplace Readiness Week Curriculum
California law AB 800 requires high schools to teach students their rights as workers. We have the curriculum to support teachers and students as they engage in Workplace Readiness Week during the first week of May.
